Bedroom addition

My wife and I want to wall off the bonus room in our house and make a new bedroom. To my inexperienced eyes, it doesn't look that difficult; some framing and drywall. One light switch will have to be moved a little to relocate inside the room.

Does anyone have a contact for a contractor who can do this work? I'd like to get a quote or two. We are looking to have this done in the spring.

few 2x4s, few sheets of drywall,a little bito of wire, a screwdriver and a drill + a few baseboard...that sounds about all you would need. Save yourself the labour costs of a contractor and do most of it yourself. Get an electrician to do the electrical if you are not comfortable. Sounds like you are just making a straight wall.
