Comments on it?

Can it be incorporated with an existing Compustar alarm/starter?

I wasn't too impressed. Good luck starting your car if you have no phone service.

Smartstart works with any Viper smartstart compatible starter. If you have a compustar starter, look into drone. It will work with any newer models with a RS232 port.

I had the Viper Smartstart and i hated it. It was the vipers fault however. The ready mode is suck a PAIN to get into with viper and i got the smartstart to avoid a FOB. Try putting it in ready mode via the delay from your cell.

I then switched to the drone and at first it also sucked. It would only work half the time. The brain would sent the "Im shut down and ready for start" signal only once and if the server didn't get it, well it would start. They did a few updates and it did get better.

In the end i thought it was a nice toy but had really no convenience shore of the few times i had a car sleepover in the winter. I wouldn't buy one again, not worth the extra money IMO.
