What is this gas fireplace worth? Any how much would it cost to remove it?

Hey folks,

Question for you... Does anyone know what this gas fireplace would be worth? Also, does anyone have experience with removal of gas fireplaces? It is on the second floor of our home, and there is a natural gas line that runs vertically on the exterior of our home. We are looking to renovate the room and it has got to go.

New around $1500.00 plus install.

Used? probably would be lucky to get $500 for it-not many people want this style.

Super easy to remove, just screws really. I assume by reno you mean that you will be replacing the floor. Hopefully the base it sits on was not cut in to the hardwood and instead sits on top of it. The only difficult part is repairing the ~6 inch hole that was cut through your wall for a vent. If your siding is old you will have a heck of a time matching it.
