I have never used it for movember, but I have used it on my face and chest once upon a time to try and thicken things up, turns out the warning labels saying it is for scalps only is true

I run a stache and goatee all year, and I HATE shaving my upper lip, but I'll be doing Movember this year.

We turn it into a contest around the office, everyone looks like a pron star for a month, the gals make fun of us. It's a pretty enjoyable time.

My old roomie did the just for men thing. Bad idea... it just died his skin a gross brown color.

November is my favorite month for this very reason. What a blessing it is to be born in the month of the stache.

I wouldn't say so. It's all for a good cause, and no one really "wins" next to the charities. If it'll get you an epic stache, I say Give'er. I wish I could grow an epic stache:(

Kinda cheating. I dont do a shaved face. Had a beard for 6 years now but I started not trimming the stache in proportion to the beard a few weeks ago. Should have some good curls by the end of november.

Hipsters have tainted all facial hair for me unfortunately; and for that reason I'm out.

It's a great cause though.

Best 'stache ever!

Do you guys normally do the whole beard or just the upper lip growth?

Just the moustache. And I shave that shit off as soon as December starts (or my boss threatens to fire me) so I don't get mistaken for some damn hipster.

Looks like my last shave for a month will be tomorrow

... For the upper lip, that is. UGH.

Turn it into a game; how long it takes me to get a written warning for my facial hair.

Why not? In spite of my personal opinion on the whole "movember" thing, if the company had a policy regarding personal appearance/professional image and it's outlined (not saying that is the case here) then they would be well within their rights to do such a thing.

ASSUMING that such a thing was the case here (for arguments sake) then if it's actually about the charity, and not just jumping on the mustache bandwagon to be cool and fit in with your buddies, then you can donate all the money you wish without contravening company policy. They would really be doing nothing at all to impede you from being charitable.

Well to be fair I'm not doing it for charity, I'm just a smartass. I always forget about the whole charity thing, I've been doing 'no shave november' since before the whole moustache for charity thing really caught on a few years ago, or at least that's when I first heard of it.

I'm management too and really I enforce the 'grooming standards' more than anyone else.
If I could grow it out neat it'd be a different story, but I just look like a scruffy dirtbag

I will be doing this as well. I have never really been able to grow facial hair at all. Being 36, I am attempting my second moustache, and so far not great. Mostly blonde and not at all full. Leaving the rest of my face unshaven has yielded me about 5 follicles of side burn per side, and about 72 straight blonde hairs on my chin about 3/16" standing proud as fuck. It was more of a personal experience to see what I could grow, but now that a co-worker said my chin reminded him of his balls when he was 13, it will be clear cut before bed this evening.

Good luck to the rest of you.

I was thinking about dying it to get full color but its already fairly bold when I trim the rest of my face.
