This took maybe 30 minutes. I thought it might help a few people install their cameras from the group buy that closed today.

Pop the overhead console off:

Unscrew the hook that holds the sun visor:

Pull off the A-pillar cover

pull open the side of the dash:

Route the fat end of the power cable through the top of the hole and down the side of the dash:

Route the small end up the A-pillar, through the head liner and out the front of the headliner down to where the camera will be under the rear view mirror.

pull up the rocker panel:

route the cable under the carpet and up through the hole for the power seat cabled under the drivers seat:

Plug it into power on the back of the center console. This power is always on.

Enjoy.

I might rethink the power location and see if the power point inside the console switches off with the key.

If you cut the power cord you could have tapped right into the dimming mirror or maybe even the sunroof controls. I just did a mirror mount radar detector and tapped into the rear sliding window control for power and ground. If you do this its a good idea to put a resistor in line similar to what is in the power cord.

Nice install without cutting and splicing though and its way better than having cords coming down.
