The shawnessy McDonalds finally has McBites!
For those of you who haven't tried them in the states, they're like popcorn chicken but a lot better (imo). The deep fried skin isn't as crispy as KFC's and there Habanero sauce is unreal. In the US they have Spicy McBites which are even better so hopefully we get those too.

Try these with the habanero sauce and you will not regret it. Remember though, these are ment as a side so a 20 pack won't fill you up by any means.

Looks like the post-Vegas diet is waiting until tomorrow.

I had these with the habenero sauce on the weekend. They were decent. The sauce was Delicious.

not even close to being as good as popcorn chicken. Taste bland, mushy, pasty and smell like raw chicken. Keep away

Disagree.
Popcorn chicken is 90% deep fried shell and their sauces suck.

Had some for lunch today, pretty tasty for a snack. The Habanero sauce is delish, I ran out of chicken so I started dunking my fries in it. Good stuff.

Did you go to the new McDick's in Stephen Ave?

I bet the McNuggets with the habanero would be the way to go.

Nope, I like to keep things classy and go to the one by the Crack Mac's.

Is the habanero sauce extremely spicy?

I love KFC popcorn chicken (it isn't 90% deep fried), but yes, the sauces in Canada aren't good at all. In the US (depending on location), they have Garlic Parmesan, Fiery Buffalo, Orange Ginger, Spicy Chipotle, and Bacon Ranch.

Is this habanero sauce new? Never heard of it before. BBQ and hot mustard all day though

Agreed.

I stopped buying popcorn chicken when KFC pretty much stopped putting chicken in them.

It's like those Jamaican meat patties. They reduced the "meat" lol, by about 50%.

No. Definitely not as spicy as the "habanero" name suggests at least.

It's still got some definite heat, but nothing more then your average hot sauce (tastes a lot better then just hot sauce though).

It's Mcdonalds. I'm pretty sure they would get sued by some idiot if they actually made it spicy. Can't wait to try these.

Habanero peppers (like with any hot peppers) are about flavor AND heat. I love them for their heat and flavor. If you overdo either of these things you miss the point of eating them.

Sure some might like burning their stomach lining, but I would venture to say that most don't.

Agreed. Just had some (10pc meal) and totally love that sauce. Although 10 McBites isn't enough to go through one sauce dipp.er

I hope they bring the Spicy McBite here. Had it in the summer in the U.S and it was damn good. Habanero sauce =

I cant believe so many people like them... had them in the US last Spring and thought they were terrible. Barely any meat at all and basically just eating whatever crust/coating was on them.

So it has become apparent that there are definitely two demographics within in Beyond - those that regularly dine at McD's and those that tend to dine at other finer establishments (Ruth's Chris, Vintage, etc). Myself, don't dine out but am still wondering if the ballers regularly dine at McD's and if the McD's regulars regularly check out the other places?

lol believe it or not it is possible to enjoy both a nice rare cut of filet mignon and also enjoy a big mac.

A real foodie loves great food, no matter where it came from.

As long as it tastes great, it's awesome.

I definitely have to try this sucker out today!

What a major letdown.

They're just mini McNuggets and those are way better than this. Glad I only bought 10.

Habanero sauce is good though. It does taste like those Co-op Xtreme chips.

Also, Stephen Ave. McDonald's had issues with my Amex. Lost 4 points. :banghead:

What stops someone from buying Chicken Nuggets and requesting the Habanero sauce as a dip instead? They're the same size dip right?

People should just do that.

Mcbites win cause they're easier to dip. You can submerge them in sauce.

Yeah but you lose out on the chicken to dip ratio.

Had these the other night and they were pretty good and the habanero sauce was pretty good too.

Anyone notice the cup you get your bites in has a spot to put the sauce? Except if you it tips over?

Was thinking of getting a big mac without the special sauce and replacing it with the habanero sauce.

tried them, seems like they used the real chicken from those chicken strips they used to have with the normal nugget coating. They were alright, but I much prefer the fake processed meat from the nuggets. The Habenero sauce was most excellent though

I liked them. Ate them 2 nights in a row coming home from the club. Just the right combination of grease and protein to put me to bed, like a bottle of milk for a baby.
