I've converted my headlight (H4) bulbs to a xenon white....

I put the same co. bulbs in the fog lights (H3 bulb)..

How come my headlight's are white but my fogs are still
yellow-ish? Is it the lense, the bulb or what?

Ive seen many MR2's with the OEM fogs but there super
white and match the headlight's

Any recomendations or simular problems??:dunno:

its most likely the lenses that is making it look yellowish in color

is there a glare guard in them? I know in the JDM 1pc headlights for the 2nd gen Integra there's the glare guard. It's a peice of colored plastic that makes the light turn yellow.

Dunno if you have it in your headlight or not, but it's an idea:dunno:

It might be both, the acrylic lenses are probably aged and discolored (yellow) and/or the bulbs (halogen?) might be giving off a tinge of yellow. The OEM fogs you see might just be aftermarket bulbs that match the xenon installed in the stock housing.

I got Xenon headlights (white) and stock halogen foglights (yellow), when I put both on, they don't match at all.

Go to Value Parts and get a bottle of acrylic plastic cleaner. It has some abrasives in it that works out the yellow on the lenses when you use it to clean. I used it before and it worked out pretty well. But usually you gotta clean them again after 6 months or so. Also finish the lens off with the protector coat.
