I think it's only something like 140HP but it's light as hell. I think it would be a blast to drive!

Its based off the Smart Roadster that Daimler Chrysler sells in Europe. Its 100HP in a very light car. Its supposed to be light, cheap and fuel efficient. The style won't appeal to everyone obviously, but I think it looks good.
I might wait a few years, pick up a used one and drop a 2.4L engine in it and prepare for take off :D

RR
In the Slingshot thread I opened a while back, someone mentioned a brabus edition of the smart roadster (which this is based on). It can be made into a pretty impressive little vehicle.

It's rear mounted. 3 cyl, ~100HP, 0-60: ~10s, 5 speed, 4w independent suspension, 4 wheel disc, and apparentyl fuel efficiency up to 45MPG
I'd sure as hell look into one, if it ever makes it into production..

hmm the car has a weight ratio of 17.4 lbs/hp so it's a really light car ... i think it has some potential.
