Locally, preferably. I also wouldn't need 500 or any huge amount either. I don't even know what they're called, I've heard screw posts, finishing posts, standoff posts...

Basically it's just a spacer to float things off a wall. Often used for acrylic. It has a screw that goes through it to anchor to a wall, and pinches stuff between the housing and the screw, and then has a nice end cap.

Haven't seen anything like this at Home Depot...or perhaps I haven't looked hard enough.

They are called standoffs and you can by them at B&E Electronics or Victory Vinyls.

I'm pretty sure that B&E's standoff's are strictly for electronics. I doubt they will have anything decorative like that.

They are literally 2 doors down from my office and we are there almost daily. I would check for you but I am out of town until Monday. That being said i would try VW337's second suggestion.

Are those prices in your link correct?? $5 and up for a single standoff or am I missing that they come in a package... :dunno:

Thanks guys!! I sure hope they aren't that pricey :( just using them to mount some of my artwork

edit: and for that price I hope they come with caps and screws...will investigate
