pipeline integrity specialist

Hopefully I posted this is the right spot,

Just wondering if anyone know's how the job postion of pipeline integrity specialist/ tech is? Hours/pay/ type of work?

I was offered this job today but really don't have a clue about it.

I have a family friend that does this for work but he's gone for 3 weeks.

I know he drives a xray truck if that helps.

That title could be a lot of different jobs. But I will say that pipeline integrity and NDT are busy and growing fields, so probably good career choices.
