I went to Best Buy today to get a remote starter installed. Turns out they don't do installs anymore but he sold me a Nustart NU4502. It was an open box but he said everything should be in there. I figured I would take a stab at installing it myself, but have changed my mind after realizing I can't even figure out the basics :-) I will have it professionally installed. The box came with two remotes, an antenna, cable that goes from the antenna to ... What ? That was all that was in there. Am I wrong, or shouldn't there be some kind of controller ? Or does the installer usually supply that ? Thank you to anyone that can shed some light on this ... And please don't laugh ;-)

Yep should be a big black box with the name of the unit on it. Should have numerous plugs on the side, etc...

here is a great site that tells you what wire colors and where they are.

Thanks guys !

There is definitely no black box or any wiring. Luckily, he said I could return it if there was anything missing.

I just wanted to be sure before I went back looking like an idiot ;-)
