What kind of racing? I don't know of any specific VW racing club but there are a few veedubs involved in various kinds of racing.

No teams that I know of...for the most part, VW's are their own little crowd. You go to a Honda Acura show, and it is a polar opposite of what a VW show is like. Much more relaxed non-competitive. Much more of a mature crowd based around family events and/or camping/bbq stuff. Most VW shows incorporate ALL VW's, so this is things like the bus' and beetles, mixed right in with the new stuff. You rarely see any abnoxious cars with neon and decals and other technologies and "hardcores" which "import" shows are known for, just a big get together more or less. Nice thorough restorations and clean classics, in the same area as the new watercooled cars. Different strokes for different folks. If you want a rice club...er I mean a race club, shoulda bought a Honda.

^^^ :werd: There are far too many h-core wanna be's at some of these "import" meets. i have never felt anything but welcome at a VW show, where as others there seems to be an attitude problem with some of the younger participants.

These are all the shows I know of, they also generally have a show called "Das Volks" but it hasn't been planned yet. Concept1 also generally holds a customer appreciation day, no idea when that will be this year either.
