Yeah I found that bit really odd. Some of their picks are very obvious, but most others were like....

Comparing that new M5 to these ostentatious mid 70's Lincolns & Buicks was pretty damn biased really. Those cars were never (even remotely) designed for performance.

I've never driven the SC430 - but I find it hard to believe it is THAT bad. It was never designed to be an outright sports car... it was meant to be a sporty, comfortable cruiser.

May dissing the Ford Escort Cosworth :whipped: , I had the next version down which was an XR3i, loved that car. When I was around 8-9 years old there was a Ford Capri that was in dis-repair in a wreckers yard close to where I went to school, dreamed one day I would buy and repair it, little did I know when that young :)

Ah Top Gear shouldn't always be taken seriously. This is more for entertainment. Although I have to agree that the SC430 is hideous, especially after the previous gen SC line.

Aztek still gets my vote for worst.

The comparison was just an excuse to do classic Top Gear things they wanted to do: 1) Slide some awesome car around impressively, 2) For comedy, show Clarkson and May trying to do impossible things with the completely wrong vehicles and failing miserably. 3) Insult Americans.

Have you not watched Top Gear before? All those things happen in all the episodes. They just combined them in one bit.
