Is anyone else having issues with Telus data this morning? It seems my connection is cutting in and out even with 4 bars. Not to mention the fact that I keep getting errors when I'm trying to call the US.

Is there a non-shitty phone company? Its to the point where I'll pay out the ass for decent service, something that it seems no one can provide.

Nice sig :rofl:

Are you calling from in the city or rural? From what I've gathered in a general sense:

Telus (lesser extent Bell) = rural use
Rogers = city use

Calling from city

Long distance issues popped up in the last week. They couldn't tell me why and blamed the US phone companies. Their ETA on a maybe fix was 3 weeks, some BS about an exchange being out of date.

Data issues started today.

I think bars are just screen decorations at this point.. I can be in the middle of the city with full bars and a call will drop. .or not connect to begin with. :nut:

Yeah bars are useless.

All networks get dropped calls and data interruptions. Good luck with tech support. The answer is always the same. "No problem with our network, you'd better send your phone in for repairs".

Some phones are affected more than others from my experience.

My understanding is that signal bars only tell you the TOWER connection signal, not the signal FROM the phone to the tower :nut:

Could be congestion for data, as for the long distance issue, that's a little weird, hard to know what that is.
