Hey guys,
The company I sub for is looking for more onsite IT contractors (FT or PT).
-You would be responsible for attending service calls all over the city to various clients and businesses.
-Calls range in nature from simple troubleshooting of Windows home user issues to migration of Servers. The calls can be tailored to your skill sets (eg start with simple issues).
-Customer skills (read, patience) is an asset, as well as punctuality and self-presentation.
-This would be a great starting step for someone looking to go out on their own (or decide its not for them). Contract rates vary by client, but average around 45$/hr.
-You can work as much or as little as you want (evenings/weekends).
-The work can be as simple or as challenging as you want to make it.
-Reliability checks and references required.
-FYI...most contractors operate as corporations (CRA vehicle mileage)
