Invermere Best Hotel/Lodge For Weekend Getaway

I am planning on taking my girlfriend out to Invermere for the weekend to surprise her for her birthday (she used to live there and misses it). I havent been there in a long time and am looking for a top notch hotel for a nice quiet getaway. We wont be doing any skiing this time as she is pregnant so will just be relaxing.

I was thinking about Fairmont in Lake Louise, but thought Invermere would be more special. I just cant seem to see any really nice hotels there.

Even a B&B might be cool.

Recommendations anyone?

I stayed at Copperpoint Resort this summer, had a loft facing the golf course, nice view of the mountains, etc. Rooms all modern and finished nicely. I suggest getting a full unit, not a lock off.

If its during the winter Panorama has some really nice hotel rooms right on the hill... Certainly the best views of the bunch.

Not too impressed with the hot springs, but the others look good.

I really liked Bighorn Meadows. Separate king sized bedroom was a huge bonus, plus a kitchen so we could stay in and cook if we wanted.
