Looking for a place in calgary that does one of projects or someone with a large table saw that can help me out. My saw will not cut something this thick very well. I am wanting to trim down two of the countertops in the link and biscuit joint them together for my island.

You looking to cut it lengthwise, or just shorten it? If shortening it, just put a good blade on your skillsaw,make sure the wood is secured well, good side down, and put a strip of masking tape on both sides where you're cutting to prevent splintering. Take your time and have at'er. Even if you're going lengthwise, you can do it easily with two people and a guide.
