So as many people here know I was looking for a new (to me) truck the last few months. I had pretty much decided on what I wanted until I saw a Deep Metallic Blue SLE2 Sierra at Shaw GMC, after that I had to have one. Unfortunately, it had been sold a few hours before I saw it.

I found one with the exact load out I wanted on the lot at CMP, but it was "missing" when I went in to look at it. It turns out it had been sold to another dealer a week earlier. Another popped up and I went in to look at it, take it for a test drive and inspection. I started talking $$ with the sales person I was working with and after two rejected offers, they came back with a final price that I felt was too high considering the time on the lot and KM. I did know the true market value and the price they could expect at auction, so my offers reflected that as well.

Chris V, (Delco21 on Beyond), was able to get me the price I wanted within hours of me talking with him on Sunday night. Once I started dealing with him, the process went incredibly smoothly. I was able to get the price I wanted and they tossed in a tank of gas, some free keychains and a set of floor mats. Most of all, they didn't wash it when I asked them not to. Chris always answered my calls or returned messages promptly and sent a car to pick me up on my delivery date (fairly deep south during rush hour).

I would highly recommend that anyone in the market for a new or used GMC, Cheverolt, Cadillac or Buick stop by and see him.

I'll post up some pictures tonight.

I have to ask, why didn't you want the dealership to wash the truck?

They do a shitty job and will most likely fuck with it during said wash job

I've heard stories of vehicles getting "washed" at the dealer and coming back with a ton of scratches. Even though it was a used truck, I didn't want to risk it.

I wasn't really worried about them messing with it, the keys are locked up and it apparently logs who checks them out. Going and being petty only causes trouble and hassle no one wants.

Looks good.

Now you need a lift to grow into those Dumbo mirrors. Step 1, call Norcal Truck. Step 2, order whatever Cognito kit they tell you to. I did and that's how cool kids roll.

Edit: I'm not making fun, I like the tow mirrors. I don't like trying to see things in little mirrors.

For whatever reason my truck is optioned out for towing (2500), but has the small mirrors. I'd be up for a trade maybe, if you were interested.. I'm also blue.
