All you people that took cpsc203 probably know this....

When you add files to your account, like when you made your webpages, you have to change the code or whatever so that everyone can seem them or else you get that forbidden message. Dos anybody know/remember how to change those codes??

you may have to chnage the permissions on them

haha...that shit didn't make sense to me either, I set permisssions to allow files to be visable to all or something and it still didn't work right....so I just uploaded it to my shaw webspace :D Then he made me "assume all risks" by posting my webpage on space other than the University's since they are not responsible for other ISP's having problems or something and resulting in assignment not getting marked...so much :bullshit:

I just created an account on geocities and just hosted it on there.. was so much easier.

haha...do you have any idea of what CPSC203 even is about??

CPSC203 is the hardest computer related class around, if you are bragging that you know more than what is taught in that class then you have got to be the most l337 PC user on beyond:eek:

if ur talking bout in unix or aix. It's chmod. u can do a man on chmod to see the different options. U also have to chmod ur home folder in order for ur webpages to work.

Thanks for the help guys. Really simple using FTP. When I took it three years ago Groot told us the only way was to use AIX and change each file manually. What a chore. With Ftp just right click and done!!
