Looking to book a one week inclusive leaving from miami.

So far all prices seem about the same as booking from here. How can that be possible when Miami is so close to the Caribbean? Wouldn't cost of air fare be significantly less?

Can anyone suggest best websites for booking a vacation leaving from Miami?

Thanks!

It isn't about the length of the flight, it's how much space is available on them. Miami is so close that people will jump on a flight for a weekend away, just like we do for Vegas.

Ok, flights to Vegas are cheap from here, maybe cuz it's a busy route.

Following your example, shouldn't vacations from Miami to Carib be cheap just like Vegas is for us?

Keep in mind Calgary has 1M people vs the huge amount of people in south Florida area. You are also looking at a huge ex pat population that travel back and forth too. As well flights from other centers in the states could connect through Miami.

Miami is tropical...no need to go south.
