iphone - slacker radio in car?

Trying to have Slacjer which works fine on my iphone5 play in my audi s5 but when I plug it into the car the navi screen shows my iphone continuing to load - looks like its searching for itunes (i have no songs on there)

Is this not possible?

does your audio have bluetooth?
If so I would just use bluetooth streaming.
