Free parking @ downtown U of C campus?

Just wondering if anyone knows if we can park for free downtown anywhere around the U of C campus in evenings? I have a class from 6-9p. Looks like my options are impark, vinci, centennial and calgary parking authority. It's at 8th ave & 8th st SW

Can't you park in the streets? Free after 6 pm, so you'd either pay for the 10-15 minutes you arrive early or risk it.

^^ that's what I was hoping to hear! I never drive downtown so wasn't sure about that.

if you get there early enough you can park right outside for free.

A lot of parking lots have night rates which are like 5 bucks too

Just don't park on the street there if you have the same class there tomorrow. I think its part of the snow route parking ban.
