So, decided we are kid free next weekend, and want to have some alone time. Looking for somewhere nice within a couple hours drive, would be awesome if it had a kitchenette in it, or bbq to cook up a nice steak, but we would love a hot tub and a good sized tv to relax in and watch the game.

are there any hotels / inns / chalets / whatever at a great price, like uner $200 a night?

Book that, then run to costco where you get the 125$ g/c for 100... Grab 2-3...

No bbq tho, but the steak at the restaurant is awesome :)

We've always stayed here when out in Canmore:

BBQ on the balcony, two hot tubs and complimentary parking heated underground parking. They would have upgraded to flat screens by now.

Me and the wifey stayed here http://www.granderockies.com/default.asp?mode=webpage&id=474 (Canmore)

It was well worth it. Beautiful resort, amazing rooms, very comfortable bed, very upscale. Highly recommended.
