So I have two friends in HR within O&G. One said include, one said leave it out. My grades are nothing to boast about nor be ashamed of. So what do you guys think?

Never include resume.

No employers going to care that you got an A in Physics and a D in Calculus.

If they want it they will ask for it, it's as simple as that.

I agree, unless you have a 4.0 gpa why would your employer care if you got a 3.79 vs a 3.72?

Edit: even if you got a 4.0 that doesn't make you any better than other applicants. Your resume is what needs to be perfect to get you the interview and then the job.

No, they ask for it if they even care.

You dont need to submit transcript ever unless they specifically ask for it. If you did good in classes directly related to the position you are applying for, I would mention it. Relevant experience and reference will be more important if you have any.

What's been said. If they ask for it, provide it. If you did great in certain classes directly relevant to the job you're applying, mention that in your resume or cover letter. It is different for my field as every single firm requires transcripts, but if your potential employers aren't asking then concentrate on having a great resume and cover letter.

I only included it in applications that asked for it / had a place for it in their online application system. If I was just emailing directly I never included it.
