Hello I just moved to Calgary mid September 2012 and this si my second Honda. I'm only 19 so this build may go a little slow but it'll get there. I usually drive Volkswagens so the Honda thing is new to me. I'd like to thank Shoaib at JDMSource for all the help up to this point. Really great guy and has helped me whenever I needed it.

Here's the car when I first bought it at the end of September 2012.

When I got the car home I took out the seat covers and threw them out and took the racing pedals off and sold them. I still have that blue e-brake boot but I haven't made an effort to change it yet even though I hate it.

Then I had to get rid of those tail lights so I took them out and sold them.

Next I ordered a Mugen lip and a badgless grill. I just bought an OEM SiR grill yesterday though because I didn't like the cheapness of it.

Then I put a deposit on an ITR swap from JDMSource.

A couple days later coming out of the car was it was all ice and was only going about 5km/h but just couldn't stop. I slid out into the road and got ran over by a truck but luckily nothing happened to her truck at all and there was only minor damage to my car so I was good with that. The next day I bought new bumper foam and a new rebar. The bumper cover is stitched together until spring.

I then installed an SiR cluster. I also changed out that silver painted control unit for a black one.

I then went and picked up my swap from JDMSource.

This is what's getting done to my valve cover with orange lettering.

great updates so far, where did you get your head lights from? are the OEM? i want to buy a set of CTR headlights but they go for 800+ for new.... and the quality of the ones you find on ebay are terrible, its hard tp tell from your pictures but yours look pretty good

Looking forward to this.

Is it a stock color? I'm color blind with certain shades and this looks dark green/gun metal to me.

Nice car anyways.

Not sure if it's stock colour or not but i've seen a few the same colour around I believe. It was origionally black and the previous owner painted it this green. It's not a very pretty job and really bugs me but i'll live with it for now.

Yeah, there's just something weird going on with it. You can see it better in the sun.

Good start! The b swap is going to be relatively easy to do.. No need to wire the iacv or VTEC, only things your ganna have to repin is the alternator/distributor plugs everything is else is plug and play also would suggest to use the d series injectors that way you don't have to repin the clips.

The swap is getting done at JDMSource to ensure it's done correctly and I can't do it at the house because we have that one neighbor that has to complain about everything and then a peace officer comes by and tells me I have to stop. I've had them here for doing an oil change, changing a headlight bulb, and pulling my friends motor we had a time limit to get it out or risked a 550$ fine... It's retarded.

I live in Cochrane. I'm sure I could do the swap since i've done a couple with Volkswagens and i helped my friend do a B18 swap in his car a couple years back. The original plan was for me to do it myself until these people decided to have issues with us working on cars. They've complained about our friend upstairs working on his truck in the garage at 2 in the afternoon and the peace officer told him he had to stop because aparently the noise violation is anytime during the day if it's borhering someone here. If it was up to me I would say whoever lives in that house is balls deep in the town of Cochrane.

Wow that must be brutal having neighbours like that, I don't even worry about what time of day it is when I'm working on my car lol, I'll have my compressor running at full steam at 3:30 am lol. I've never even heard of neighbours complaining about working on cars, next time he is cutting his grass or doing yard work call him in saying he's being too loud lol

^+1 CALL HIM OUT WHEN HE IS LOUD!

I hate when people do that. You're working on your car and try to save yourself money but your neighbors called the peace officer/cops is just retarded. It happened to me once a long time ago and I was pissed! People should mind their own business and let other people do theirs!

But anyways, nice build man! It is not that slow! You're actually doing it a little too quick. lol.

Good luck on the build!
