exhaust headers?

Hey im 15 and i don't know that much about the mechanics of cars yet....but i wan't to make my car make noise so i was wondering if an exhaust header would do the trick?

Seriously, you don't need header's.. All you need is a crappy tire free flow muffler...($30-$40) and if you wanna, gut, or cut the cat...

or... drill a hole in your muffler...
