Been using the following as a post workout snack... way better for you than tuna/mayo and actually tastes pretty good:

- 1 tin of tuna
- 1/2 an avocado
- salt and pepper to taste
- paprika
- diced red onion and celery

Mash the hell out of it, and then use big chunks of red pepper to scoop it up like a dip.

What are you eating post workout?

I've been having a shake.

2.5 scoops of strawberry whey (70g prot)
1/3 cup of steel cut oats
Mixed frozen berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
5 oz of orange juice
3 oz of water
metamucil

Nom nom.

With tuna I like mixing it with a bit of mayo and mustard and eating it on sliced cucumber with a small slice of cheese.

Swap your tuna for wild alaskan salmon to avoid accidental mercury poisoning.

I was being semi-sensationalist with that comment, but the mercury levels in tuna are no joke. I only eat it once a week just in case. Wild Alaskan Salmon is among the lowest average mercury content of all fishes. Has more healthy fats too!

I always eat tuna 2 cans at a time. Was doing it probably 2-3 times per week as snacks or lunch. After about 1 year, my doctor was concerned and sent me for tests. Nothing showed up.

But like was said, canned salmon. Its got the awesome omega 3s

I put one in my lunch bag every day, I also have them as snacks quite a bit. I have at least 7 cans a week, some weeks 10 or more. I've been doing this for years, I'm perfectly fine.
