Need help figuring out a problem

I have a 97 subaru and installed a double din sony dvd, sub and amp.

I had it all hooked up and working until one day a fuse in my amp went. i replaced the fuse, and now I have a problem.

The amp turns on when the deck is on, everything is connected however the dvd player doesn't recognise the subwoofer when i go to turn it on. it's all blacked out.

I'm hoping someone may have a few spare minutes of time to check this out for me on the weekend or during the evening. I can buy you some coffee or something to eat if you can give a quick look and help figure out whats broken and needs replacing.

Um, I can check it out, but are you talking about the (RCA input) control panel for the sub? How is the sub control portion of the deck "blacking out", yet the "remote on" for the amp still works? Sorry this just doesn't make too much sense while reading it. In person would be a different story since I can trouble shoot exactly whats happening, but with your brief description, that doesn't tell me much.

You probably have to enable "sub control" from the deck.. check the settings.
