Holy repost batman, I think this is at least the third time this was reposted in the last couple years.

For the record, that old '59 Impala had no engine or tranny in it. So its not the least bit surprising that with only the frame & body work that it'll crumple like that.

Source? The 59 Impala lacks a crumple zone to absorb and dissipate the force of impact properly.

I swear, if I'm ever millionaire rich, I'll be restoring some old cars, just to crash them and finally put this debate to rest.

No engine, no tranny, plus the thing was a rust-bag (as you can see from the cloud of it)
