I tried installing my dvd player myself yesterday only to find that i wired it improperly and have my clock no longer functional. At first I thought I blew the fuse cuz my stereo didn't work anymore and my clock was out but upon checking the accessory fuse, it was fine. My lighter still works but my clock and power to stereo is out. Any suggestions?

Check the fuses under the hood. This happens to me a lot when I change stereos. One is a 10amp(under the hood), the other is a 15amp fuse(under the dash)

What kind of car is this in? If it is in a Honda there is one fuse under the hood on the pass. side that is a 10amp fuse second from the left at the very back.
