Editted (Feb 20, 2013): Changed the terms of the concept, I agreed to others who talked to me the original concept wasn't that great, thank you... FYI: nothing has happened at the time of this change.

Going to try something new on Beyond here, while still following marketplace rules. (no auction bidding on vehicle sales)

For Sale, To Highest Donation

I am going to donate my labour put into Project: Hailboy Civic (http://forums.beyond.ca/st/364459/project-hailboy/), selling the vehicle AT COST what I paid Village Honda as hail damaged from August 12, 2012 NW/Royal Oak hail storm. To the highest donation contribution to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation www.cbcf.org

THIS MIGHT NOT BE AN ACTIVITY FOR EVERYONE, please ask questions if anything doesn't make sense.

- Starting now, till March 18, 2013 11:59pm (MST)

- Doing an open disclosure "pledge donation bidding", highest pledge at deadline donating to Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation (Prairie region) will get to purchase this vehicle at fixed cost of $15,500

- Your donation bid is for my donated PDR labour spent fixing a $11,892.00 hail damage assessment (August 12, 2012 Calgary NW storm), spraying entire vehicle with Plasti-Dip, and just knowing ur doing it for a good cause, not to mention driving a unique project vehicle.

- Increments of $50 (fifty dollars), just quote the amount/post above yours, then add in your $50 increment(s) as the highest current donation; right up until deadline.

- PLEASE inspect this USED vehicle purchase beforehand (sold as is where is), and have your finanical affairs in order ($15,500 plus your winning donation; donation made directly to www.cbcf.org under your own name/organization)

- I'd say within 1 week after event close (by March 25, 2013) the winner should complete the transcation (make donation and pay for vehicle), otherwise I reserve rights to move to second highest bid and so on.

Also, please note you are purchasing a USED VEHICLE. buyer's responsibility to perform own due diligence. So please weigh in your own evaluation before making your donations accordingly if you're trying to be highest donation to purchase this @ fixed cost of $15,500

Here's seller's disclosure from my end:

- Sold as is where is (Vehicle still carries Honda warranty, but no paint warranty)

- This was an extreme hail damaged unit (as per photos, and Project: Hailboy (http://forums.beyond.ca/st/364459/project-hailboy/) )

- Here's link of Carproof I just purchased (car sold, link removed)

- There's a $11,892.00 non-collision damage claim tagged within the Carproof (this would be that big hail damage in Royal Oak, NW in Calgary, AB August 12, 2012) That should be the settlement that dealership took from their insurance co.

- 1/3 of the vehicle had really good Paintless Dent Removal done. But 1/3 is also barely passable work. The other 1/3 was completely hacked (for demo purpose, as per Hailboy project on Beyond here)

- Entire vehicle is sprayed with Plasti-Dip matte/clear, PLEASE research the advantage and disadvantage, maintenance, of Plasti-Dip. It is NOT a substitution for proper automotive grade paint.

- This is the first time I've Plasti-Dipped a vehicle, so there'll be some flaws, I'll be happy to show them to you in person if you want to view the vehicle

- I'd prefer if you bring your own mechanic TO my warehouse, as I'd like to maintain the vehicle at 2,000 km (two thousand)

- It had 1 fender bender winter 2012. All parts are OEM Honda, painted by professional bodyshop in Calgary. (I'll show buyer receipt)... Only major parts replaced: Front bumper, Left fender, Left headlamp, Left side mirror and plus little brackets, plastic clips here and there.

Breaking the rules and bumping this.

Changed the concept (I agreed to suggestions against my original concept)... this is going to be an open disclosure pledge bidding donation. If your bid isn't the highest to purchase the vehicle, you are NOT committed to do your donation. Hopefully you'd still donate something just for the cause :D (different than original, my bad)

Starting with $50

(Anyone interested in this, quote my $50 and ADD in your pledge by increments of $50 fifty and type in the current running amount; at deadline March 18, 2013 11:59pm the user with current highest running amount gets to purchase this vehicle @ $15,500 after donating their pledge amount directly to www.cbcf.org Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation/Prairie region)
