Why you take insurance off your Cobra is beyond me. Calgary winters are so slack I would have had that car out so much already.

Come on, you weren't performing surgery on it. You wrapped that up early into the season, you could have had quite a few good weeks of cruising in by now this year.

Summer tires go on end of March most likely, had a new set pre mounted by tunerworks last fall so I just have to plonk them on!

will probably switch over to summers end of april/ beginning of may. I use my car to get out to the mountains alot so going skiing all of april/may could be sketchy with summers on

That being said i just got a new summer set up and i want to put it on soooooooo bad!

mines in storage until easter weekend. im excited as my summer car might actually run this year and see more than a few hundred km instead of just sitting in the garage waiting on parts.

Probably will bring my car out end of march/early april. Every time I think the weather is good and it would be okay to bring it out for a week or two somebody decides to pretend lanes don't exist and shoots up gravel at my wind shield. It's impossible to get a wind shield for my car, that's pretty much the only reason it stays a summer car :banghead:

that, and mine rusts even if it smells salt, let alone drive in it!

im in the wrong profession to own a turbo! authentic turbos command a pretty good dollar. here is a pic from two summers ago when i just got it from Vancouver.

Absolutely, but some more then others. If money was no object I wouldn't have a care in the world, but for some of my nicer cars & trucks I sure as hell wouldn't risk it. Winter beaters work great in that regard. Its just not worth destroying a decent car/truck on our streets given the ludicrous amounts of salt they use when it snows.
Besides, I cant exactly get new fenders for my '38 if they were to rust, so :thumbsdow
That thing stays in hibernation until the winter is gone.

This.

I don't even winterize my bikes besides batteries. If the weather is decent then I go out.

I use to be like that when I had bikes too, but then I got old, and my definition of decent weather slowly changed. needs to be pretty much hot and sunny and the middle of summer to meet my requirements..... :P

I will probably have my quick-change station set up next month.

Wake up, check weather, put on appropriate shoes.

I really do love my setup! :D

I doubt your Esprit has seen winter, haha.

I'm just waiting to have 3M put all over my car and then I'm putting it on the road, top down with a toque on. I am a little worried I won't make it down the street in front of my ice as it's an ice rink and I'm running 345's on the rear.

I'm probably more eager than anyone as I've never driven the new car.

Viper SRT-10, I sold my turbo 911 and bought it. Until the streets are cleaned I'll be avoiding traffic and sticking with secondary highways but I will have it out soon.

Now to be fair the way my street is oriented the road is covered in ice until april/may. When I had my bike I had to ride down the sidewalk for all of May because there was still ice all the way down. Even last week my entire lawn was nice and dry, I even washed my car, yet the whole street was covered. :(

you puss, cars have 4 wheels. its not going to fall over causing damage to you and it.

its also a side street so speed=slow anyway

be a man... do the right thing!

Was it parked near your Esprit? An LSx and a Ford 9" will solve the Lotus issues.

When the weather improves we should take the Lotus out. I haven't sat in that beauty in quite some time.
