View Full Version : Things to do outside of Vegas?

Searched a few threads, but did not come up with much.

Going to be in Vegas for a week in May, and have a rental car for a few days. If I wanted to get outside of Vegas for a day or two, does anyone have any reccomendations?

I know the Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon are there, anything else?

Bit of a longer drive, but if you drive up to Utah, there's some nice hiking around Zion Park.

- Exotic car racing
- Drive up/down Route 66
- Various Outlet Malls
- As you mentioned, West side of Grande Canyon & Hoover Dam
- Arizona/California/Mexico are all only a few hours drive away so you could always visit any of them too

Red Rock canyon is pretty swell, if your up for the drive LA is 4 hours away, the beach is like 5 and a bit...
