Need suggestions for edible printing or custom cake decorator.

Hey all!

Looking for a place that can do amazing freehand drawing with icing, and can put an image of my daughters on a cake, or, if failing that, can print off an edible picture that can be applied to the cake for a birthday present.

Any one have an idea where to get this done, or a recommendation?

What is an "Edible Print" a.k.a, "Edible Image," made of?
Edible Images are printed onto edible icing paper, which is composed mostly of starch and sugar. It is printed with a printer using an edible food coloring ink.

Caution: Once printed on edible paper, the color of your image may vary from the original. The color may also change once it is applied to the icing. Images may bubble as it melds together with the buttercream icing underneath. Unfortunately this is beyond our control and is just the nature of this product.

cake works makes the tastiest cakes. amazing fillings and the cake is always moist. Plus their frosting actually tastes good, unlike the usual nasty buttercream/fondant icing that other places use.

I happen to know of the existance of a chocolate 3D printer in calgary :D

Don't know how I missed that. That would have been pretty awesome!

anyways, ended up going to co-op up in the Hamptons, they did a pretty good job after KVG cleaned up a pic for me.
