Which of the following phone options would you pick:

1) iPhone 3GS and newer (EDIT: apparently, this is iPhone 5)
2) BlackBerry Bold 9900
3) Samsung GALAXY™ SIII

EDIT: I should also mention that the phone isn't for me, it's for a woman who really isn't that great with technology (so something simple and reliable would be great).

EDIT: These are corporate phone options, obviously I would not limit the choices to these 3 phones if I could. :D

Because i'm currently rocking it...
I voted the BB 9900.

But in all honesty, you're probably best off with the S3

Nexus 4 or iPhone 5 IMO.

Why 3g as part of the comparison? The 3g can't perform anywhere close to the others. I know you say "or newer", but you should have put iPhone 4 as the minimum.

Personally, I have the 4 (had a 4s before it was stolen) and love it. But if you want better customizing, the Samsung products are better.

Nexus 4, for just a basic phone that has the same stuff as the high end samsung phones, and being able to buy it outright for 3 bills. Dont get her a $600 samsung cuz girls will be girls. probably leave it on the bus or at the park. :nut:

I run my business off my cell phone, I got talked into a Galaxy s3 as BB replacement..
I hate the Galaxy as a business phone. Its to jumpy with a touchscreen interface, its to big with a protective case on it. One handed texting is nearly impossible.
Even after becoming familiar now with the S3, I find it awkward, unintuitive and to be honest, apps really arent a big deal when I just need to make phone calls, or receive simple service calls by text or email. Blackberry was a much better email handling phone.
One aspect that drives me nuts is the S3 seems to forget email settings every once in a while. You think you have sent an email, then next time you look at the phone, it has an error message saying the server settings have changed and the email has not been sent. Of course they havent changed, you just push enter on the same settings and all works again for about 3 days or so..
And I do miss BB messenger, I have whatsapp and google talk , but neither has worked as well as BB messenger.
Battery life on the S3 sucks balls.. It spends half the day plugged into the truck, the BB would last 2 days.

now she is saying that the "iPhone 3GS and newer" option actually is an iPhone 5.

Personally, I'd say that the iPhone 5 has the easiest UI, so it doesn't take much to get used to. The S3 is actually complicated to learn to use if you're not very tech-savvy. I wouldn't take the BB because it's out dated(although for business use, it's actually pretty simple to use and straight forward).

I voted before you mentioned that it's not for you. Seeing how it's for a girl who's not very technologically savvy, I'd definitely say iphone. iOS is alot more intuitive and glitch free than android. I love my S3, but iOS is alot simpler and easy to use.
