For sale is a Patriot Javelin S4 4-bay NAS that's about a year old and in excellent condition. Was running 3 x WD20EARS drives in it in RAID5 without any problems. It's got 2x USB2.0 ports, a gigabit port, and an ESATA port; the USB ports can be used for external drives, printers, flash memory, or UPS. Connected to my APC, it was able to properly shut down when power was cut. It has Windows, Linux, and Mac file protocols, as well as working as a DLNA, music, web, and download server, can run Optware and install IPKGs, and has a host of other options. No drives are included, but all accessories, manuals, and box is included.

Have two of these now, decommissioned from our network. Same excellent condition each, and both come with boxes and manuals. $175 ea or $300 for the pair. Good for off-site duplication, as they have the ability to sync with each other.
