iphone 5 screen repair

hi,

I cracked my iphone 5 screen and need it replaced. Anyone here willing to do it cheaper then that?

Every place in Calgary is charging me like $270. That's like half the price of a new phone.

I'm almost thinking of doing it myself. Anyone know any cheap places where I can buy parts.

270 is a good price, considering a front digitizer is almost 350

I looked online and you can find parts for #50 on Amazon can you not. No point to even replacing it at that price, I might as well just buy a new phone for a few hundred more.

It was probably $50 for the 4/4S digitizer. $270 isn't too bad of a price. The part itself is going for around $250-$350 on eBay.

just make a genius bar appointment as apple will replace it with a brand new phone for $229. You will get a brand new one within 10 min. Just make sure you backup your phone before going in so you can restore from backup.
