Looking for new laptop $700-$800

Hey guys, as the title states I'm looking to pick up a new laptop in the $700-$800 price range as my current laptop is now 6 years old and doesn't work quite so well any more. Most of the usage will just be web browsing and such, but would like something that can do some decent gaming as well. I know for the price range I won't be getting a high end laptop, but would like something that is fairly capable. I've done some looking myself and have seen these: Acer V3 (http://www.bestbuy.ca/en-CA/product/acer-acer-aspire-v3-15-6-laptop-black-intel-core-i7-3632qm-1tb-hdd-8gb-ram-windows-8-nx-rznaa-004/10229279.aspx?path=5ac6376af4cf04b07bc29f700efb9b61en02) and this MSI (http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834152377). To me these seem fairly similar, with the MSI having a slightly better processor and the acer having 2gb more ram. From what I can see online the 730m is fairly comparable to the 645m. So I'm wondering if anyone has any input on these laptops, or know of anything in that price range that might be better it would be much appreciated.
