What companies do all you Beyond land tycoons use for your revenue properties?

Tell me if this is good deal, or if there is better out there:

House: 900 sq ft bungalow

Insured for:
Dwelling building: $216,000
Detached Garage: 10% of house, $21,600
Personal Property: $10,000
Additional Living/Fair rental Value: $40,000

Deductible: $1000

Annual Premium from TD MM (with professional discount): $773

Thumbs up or down? :dunno:

Most companies do not like stand alone rentals without insuring your primary home.

That is within range for a rental. Just go for it plus is tax deductible anyways...

My main insurer is RBC, but they do not do revenue properties.

I plan on having another 1 or 2 revenues to insure soon, so want to know if this is good deal, or if its worth the hassle to shop around a bit.

That's way too much for a revenue property. I think i pay under $200/yr for my rental, worth about $300k. I don't recall what coverage that is though. It's with TD MM, but i have everything insured through them.
I'm sure if you transfer your prim home insurance to TD, they can offer you a way better rate.

$200/ yr for a rented house? You must be kidding me.
A rented condo...yes but not a house.

I'm paying $38.00/month for a $400k house. Also with TD MM with a alumni discount.

Is that for fire & EC coverage or comprehensive? GRC, RC or ACV on the dwelling? What about sewer back up / water escape?
