Hi, I volunteer for a non profit - as my previous posts we have been getting hit by DDOS attacks (mainly UDP DNS, DNS server behind DD-WRT router) I tried all the iptable table drop comments I could find (both at router and at linux server) anyway make a short story short when I tried to delete a user I inadvertently deleted the users' home directory.
I tried to use extundelete but it just reported different errors even though it found the deleted folder.. ( i did unmount it was well so its not in use)
If someone could help me , as I am outside the country I would really appreciate and can even send you a paypal.
