Knock on Wood. Jose at 403-875-6830.

Everyone comments on how good my original 1961 hardwood look after he re-did them.

He was also one of the cheapest that I talked to. ~4 dollars per sq foot if i remember.

We used Lakeview Hardwood Floors several years ago. I have no complaints about their service, but I don't like the product they used.

Pre-refinishing, our 1960's hardwood was worn very unevenly, but there were no scratches etc. With the new stuff they put down, it's protecting the hardwood, but scratches in the coating EVERYWHERE. I'm not sure if that's the result of water-based coating instead of the original oil based, or if it was the product itself, but I'm not very satisfied.

They were inexpensive though. $2700 for 3 coats, and I opted for a 4th coat afterwards for another $700. (1000 sq.ft)

Tik-Tok: Do you remember what brand of water based finish you paid for? I only use these 2 brands at work:

http://www.bona.com/en-US/United-States1/BonaSystem/Coatings/Finishes/BonaTraffic/

The Bona has been the best product for a long time now. Everyone in my family has this applied on their floors. Very strong and durable.

Honestly, I don't remember now, it's been quite awhile. I'm sure it's on the paperwork somewhere around here though.
