Anyone play goalie for floor hockey and use ice hockey goalie pads? I've been using ball/floor hockey pads for quite some time now and it's about time to get some new pads but for the price of new ball hockey pads, I can get some used ice hockey pads but I'm wondering how they'll feel for floor hockey. Anyone play floor hockey goalie here with ice hockey pads?

I did. I liked it. No fear of any of the hard shots lol. Actually I used ice hockey glove and blocker as well. No problems with any of that. The ice hockey pads are pretty damn bulky compared to the floor hockey ones so if you move a lot it will take a while to adjust but probably nothing too major.

I would advise against it, you won't have any feel for shots, therefore you will have no idea where the rebound went lol.

I use the 90's technology so the goalie pads are thinner than the new ones but enough padding to not bust your knees.

I would use some form of ice hockey protection for your shoudlers/chest/arms.... then just use some higher end ball hockey pads for the rest.

I used all ball hockey equipment last time I played and the only area I felt stingers were shoulders and arms.

I use ice hockey player's gear for the upper body and pants. Lighter and provides enough protection.

I was actually looking for a Jason-style mask to wear during floor hockey. I just go Osgood style with the helmet/cage.
