Hello. I would like to get ideas from you gentlemen on how to take care of licence plate holes in my front bumper without replacing the hole bumper, or keeping that dreadful plate mount on the car. The paint on the car is still in really good condition, and I plan to have it polished soon. I was considering finding plugs to fill in the holes.

Thanks.

go to Lowes and pick up the nylon hole plugs.

Buy a slightly bigger size than the holes and tap them in with a rubber mallet. Paint them with touch up and apply some clear coat spray.

These guys have a direct color match for your vehicle.

Cost for a pair of plugs is around $20-25 bucks. Shipping is where you get bent - Same price as the plugs.

I've ordered from them a couple time snow, great product. Yes you can paint your own plugs, but again, these guys color match and clearcoat the whole deal, save yourself the hassle.

So $50 for a set of plastic plugs or $2 plus a drop of your own touch up paint, which I presume you own. It takes 15 mins, honestly.

Like others said, $2 plugs and touchup paint. Did this on my old caddy back in the day

Thanks guys. I'm going to do it myself. I've actually never bought touch-up paint before. Any suggestions on a place?

I also find NAPA has very good paint matches.

So, I have the plugs..painted and ready to go. The only other issue is that the plate holes are not flush to the surface of the bumper, edges are raised out a few mm, and this wont let the plug fit properly. And I'm not sure if I want to drill them and cause possible chipping. Has anyone dealt with this before?

Thanks

I had to drill out the hole a little bigger to fit the plugs. Also i moved my drill closer towards the sides with the stuff sticking out to smooth it out. But i didn't have any chipping or cracking on my bumper.
