The white Golf with the Jetta Front is Prime Time!!! Looks so clean and nice...Is that a perfect fit or do you have to mod it a bit?

Peace

Hrmm, Well I know the Jetta and the Golf are identical except for the back (and the headlights). All the Jetta is, is a Golf with an added backend.

But yeah, that VW rules! :)

obviously you don't know it then... all the mounting parts are the same.. but the fenders, hood, light assembly etc etc has to be changed over. n omodding necessary though

On my '97 Jetta ... i would like to get a brand new '99+ style front end ... how would the modding be on that ... if any ?? ... i know VW usually makes things pretty uniform, but there must be some mods for my scheme to work ?

If you have a 97 Jetta its a Mk3 body style, the 99+ is the Mk4 body style. You can't upgrade your Mk3 to a Mk4 without MAJOR custom work.

Mk3's are interchangable with Mk3's, and Mk4's with Mk4's.

Ie. You can change your 97 Jetta to have a Golf front end, like this one. (this is my friend Mike Roy's 97 Jetta VR6 w/ a Golf front end.. ie. Getta).
