From what I've read it's not available in Canada yet.

I was joking last year to the guys at Shadow Tinting that someone needs to invent a spray on paint protection film, they'll make a killing. Pretty cool that it's real.
I wonder how thick the film is, and how well it protects compared to your usual paint protection film. Pretty smart that it only lasts a year too, recurring revenue!

Not convinced it is thick enough. It looks like celophane when they peel it off.

How is this different from plasti dip?

i'd think you could just layer it, no? i'd be worried more about inconsistent thickness

Yeah I wonder if small rocks can nick it leaving marks all over the hood within a week of winter driving here. Hope it works though.

Dustin says the guys in the states dont like it too much. lays like a 2mil, most rock guards are 8mil... and even then he has seen rocks break through.

Inexpensive paint protection. So anyone can apply this?

Perhaps higher-quality clear plastidip?
Still, this is interesting.

Not so sure about this spray craze. I've seen a few WRX/STI's suffer paint damage from removing plasti dip.

The vid suggests waxing the car before applying the spray, maybe these people skipped that step?
Link to damage?

"Paint protection for AT LEAST one year"
Won't last as long as normal applications of 3m film.

Have you thought about doing this on the hummer? Might be good for offroading and trees scratches.

This would have been handy for auto x today, keep the scuffs off the corners of my bumpers when I was going hard and hitting cones.
