IT'S NOT A DIESEL!
LOL! anyways, I was washing the truck, and noticed a bunch of black powder carbon on the inside and outside of the exhaust pipe. I know that some carbon and such is going to be normal, but this a little extreme.
I can wipe it off with my finger, and kinda shrugged, and blasted it off with a pressure washer. Fast forward to yesterday, and I parked the truck, turned it off, and as I did, I noticed a fairly large puff of black leave the exhaust in my passenger mirror...
Now, I know what white smoke, and blue smoke means. I don't think this was thick enough to be oil smoke, but who knows...This is the first turbo'd vehicle I have owned, and this is twin turbo'd. The truck only has 21k on it now, and We are not aggressive with it, we drive pretty tame for the most part, so I can't think that valve guides or rings are done in this quickly...
anyone want to offer ideas?
