I visit often the $10 PizzaHut far in the South and the $13.60 TaiPan at Southland.
I won't go a second time to Home Food Inn Macleod, Grey Eagle Casino and Bonadventure DR Asian Buffet

I am looking for your recommandations for buffet restaurants that are located in the SW area of Calgary

Crazy! I didn't know it was a buffet-style brunch. Definitely going to check it out.

Alas, do not expect a giant pile of cooked steaks in a heat tray waiting for your gluttonous appetite at Nick's. The steaks are made to order, your server hands you a slip of paper and you fill it out for your table. It's a sirloin cut, about 2-3ozs each I'd say.

You have to beat the 1st round of service which means you either by there by 6pm or you ain't eating for awhile.

As a buffet, it's not bad.

i dont mind asian buffet (use to be treasures of china)

foodie goodie was gone a LONG time ago... i'd say... 10-15 years now

for all you can eat goodness, i'd rather do non-buffet style joints.

that korean joint at the other end of the building from that hot point place on macloed is decent

gauchos across from chinook for brazilian meat explosion

macloed sushi and bbq has a really decent dinner menu (no limit toro ordering ftw! ..ayce quality.. but meh)

I used to do this at the Brentwood Pizza Hut when I was still in uni. Only went a few times, but it was worth the money. It was like $7.99 back then. They also have dessert pizza.

Gaucho / Bolero located on Macleod / Chinook area

Reminds me of places in Portugal
These 2 restaurants are not buffets - but food served needs to be recommended here

Enjoy

I guess all AYCE Sushi joints do the same, they really stuff it with rice and slice thin on the fish when you do AYCE. That said, I think they are a bit more consistent on quality compared to others.

I can't say I've ever left unhappy. Get a group of 4-6 people and the boats just keep coming. And that it's AYCE off the grilled menu too. I haven't been to many other AYCE, but I know the Mcleod BBQ place is crap.
