Great for Calgary winters and I don't think I need to mention how reliable these are...they are on par with 4Runners.
I bought this one in December from a student moving away. It was a beast for me this Winter. Everything works EXCEPT a small oil leak. It leaks a bit while running so when I come home and park it it will leak about a toonie's size of oil on the ground. I assume it's a seal of some sort as I can clearly see it's leaking somewhere on the lower part of the engine, I'm no mechanic so that's all I can tell, it's not from the oil pan either...anyways, I got a quote of about $800 from a mechanic of a worst case scenario where they would have to get in and take out the timing belt to get to a leak....so price reflects this...could also be a quick fix who knows...
Other than that, it has a flawless windshield but the body is in a bit of a rough shape but not too bad considering the year, no HUGE rust spots, just little ones from rock chips around windshield and few other normal places...the hood is dented just a bit from a fender bender and headlights work but aren't very new looking....the tires also would not be that great for next winter but are decent for the summer...
Heat works, A/C works, everything mechanically works, except for the aforementioned oil leak...

Oh ya, as seen in pic, interior is MINT except for a small rip in driver's seat which I sewed back together...
