What's cool about this guy (besides the fact he's Canadian) is that he has taken the time to interact with the public, and especially teaching kids about space and making it interesting for them again.

That is very awesome. He certainly rocks! Glad he's coming to stampede.

Been following him on twitter just for the photos he frequently posted of different places on earth. Probably one of the only real useful uses of twitter.

Just finished watching the landing. Tres cool, especially being able to watch it on an iPhone (still get blown away by tech these days). I followed Col. Chris Hadfield on Facebook. The guy actually makes me proud to be Canadian, something I had lost under our current government.

Awesome dude. Son did a bang up job on social media push too.

I hate the Stampede parade but may show up just to cheer him on.
