I've got a firepit that is basically a square frame with a metal "bowl" that sits in it to hold your fire.
The bowl part is shaped like an inverted pyramid. The side profile would be something like this:
\_/
There are lips around the top edge that let it sit in the frame.
The problem being, I was a dumbass and left it uncovered last winter, and the bottom has rusted out. About the bottom half has crumbled and fallen off.
I just got this thing not too long ago, and it was cheap so I could just throw it out and get a new one, but it seems like a waste, so I was wondering if anyone had good ideas for me on how to replace the fire holding part? I don't care if it looks ghetto, it's covered in burnt wood all the time anyway...
